Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Paro – Thimphu (Sightseeing)
Warm welcome by our representative and transfer to Thimphu.
- Visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Point) – world’s largest sitting Buddha
- Motithang Takin Preserve – Bhutan’s national animal habitat
- Tashichho Dzong – historic fortress & monastery Evening at leisure. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu City Tour
- Visit Immigration Office (for Punakha permit)
- Explore Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory
- Folk Heritage Museum – Bhutanese lifestyle
- Memorial Chorten – built in memory of the 3rd King
- Changangkha Lhakhang – 12th-century temple with valley views Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu → Punakha (90 km)
- Scenic drive via Dochula Pass (3,150 m)
- Druk Wangyal Chortens (108 Stupas)
- Chimi Lhakhang – Temple of Fertility
- Punakha Dzong – fortress at confluence of Mo Chhu & Po Chhu Overnight in Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha → Gangtey Excursion
- Full-day trip to Gangtey & Phobjikha Valley
- Valley of black-necked cranes, rivers & legends Overnight in Punakha.
Day 5: Punakha → Paro (140 km)
- Enroute visit Tamchog Lhakhang & Iron Bridge
- In Paro, visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) Overnight in Paro.
Day 6: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Hike
- Trek to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest)
- Visit Kyichu Lhakhang – one of Bhutan’s oldest temples (Alternative: Excursion to Chele La Pass at extra cost) Overnight in Paro.
Day 7: Departure from Paro
- After breakfast, transfer to airport for onward journey.
