Depart from Haridwar early in the morning. En route, enjoy lunch while heading towards Mussoorie. Visit the scenic Kempty Falls and continue your journey to Barkot. Upon arrival in the evening, check in to the hotel. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in Barkot.

Drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti and start a 6 km trek to Yamunotri, which can be done on foot, by horse, or doli (at your own cost). At Yamunotri, pilgrims can cook rice by tying it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot springs of Surya Kund, taking it home as “Prasad.” After bathing in the warm waters of Jamunabai Kund and offering prayers at Divya Shila, visit the sacred Yamunotri Temple. Later, trek back to Jankichatti and drive to Barkot for an overnight stay at the hotel in Barkot.

  • Yamunotri Temple – Built in the 19th century by Maharani Gularia of Jaipur, the temple has been rebuilt twice.
  • Surya Kund – A hot spring known for its high-temperature waters, used for cooking rice as an offering.
  • Divya Shila – A revered rock pillar worshipped before entering the temple

After a relaxed breakfast, drive 100 km to Uttarkashi. Located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, Uttarkashi is home to the revered Lord Vishwanath Temple, known for its massive iron trident. En route, visit the sacred Prakateshwar Cave. On arrival, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

Early morning, drive to Gangotri (3,048 meters), passing through the scenic Harsil village and along the Bhagirathi River, with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. After offering prayers and exploring Gangotri, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay at the hotel in Uttarkashi.

  • Gangotri Temple: An 18th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga, built near the sacred stone where King Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva. The temple, made of white granite, is 20 ft high.
  • Submerged Shivling: A natural rock Shivling in the river, believed to be the spot where Lord Shiva received the Ganga in his matted locks. Visible during winter when water levels recede.
  • Kedar Ganga Sangam: Located about 100 yards from the Gangotri Temple, where the Kedar Ganga merges with the Bhagirathi River.

After an early breakfast, depart for Guptkashi. A late lunch is scheduled en route at Molgarh. After lunch, continue your journey, passing the beautiful Mandakini River. Follow the river until you reach Guptkashi in the evening for an overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi.

After breakfast, take a helicopter ride to Kedarnath. Opt for VIP darshan (extra cost) for a quick visit. Explore the ancient Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Legend says the Pandavas sought redemption from Lord Shiva here after the Kurukshetra war. The current temple, over 1,000 years old, was rebuilt by Adi Shankaracharya. Return to Guptkashi for an overnight stay in Guptkashi.

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Check in at the hotel and attend the evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
